Biloxi Blueberry (Low Chill) is a Southern Highbush blueberry variety specially developed for warm and mild climates with low winter chilling requirements. It belongs to the section Cyanococcus within the genus Vaccinium, the same botanical group that includes cranberries, bilberries, and huckleberries. Biloxi is widely cultivated in subtropical and tropical regions due to its adaptability and extended fruiting season.

Biloxi blueberry plants are upright and moderately vigorous, typically growing between 1.2 to 1.8 meters (4 to 6 feet) in height. This low-chill variety requires approximately 150–200 chilling hours, making it suitable for regions with mild winters. The plant produces medium to large, firm, light blue berries with a sweet flavor and mild acidity. It is known for its long harvesting period and ability to produce multiple flushes of fruit under favorable conditions.

Commercially, Biloxi is valued for its high yield, good shelf life, and strong adaptability to container cultivation and open-field farming. In addition to fruit production, the plant offers ornamental appeal with white, bell-shaped flowers in spring and attractive reddish foliage in cooler seasons. Like other blueberries, it thrives in acidic, well-drained soil with good sunlight exposure.
