Ping Pong Longan is a distinct variety of the longan fruit (Dimocarpus longan) known for producing larger, round fruits about the size of a ping‑pong ball, with translucent, juicy flesh and a sweet, aromatic flavour. Like other longans, it has a thin outer shell that you peel off to reveal sweet flesh surrounding a shiny black seed — giving the fruit the nickname dragon’s eye. This variety is prized in tropical and subtropical regions, both for its taste and ornamental appeal, and is often grown in home gardens or orchards.
