Kasargod Kullan Coconut is a dwarf coconut variety developed in the Kasaragod region of Kerala, India. It is well known for its short height, early bearing nature, and good productivity, making it suitable for both commercial cultivation and home gardens. This coconut palm generally starts producing coconuts within 3–4 years after planting. Because the tree remains relatively short and compact, it is easier to maintain and harvest compared to tall coconut varieties. The coconuts are small to medium-sized and contain tasty and refreshing tender coconut water. With proper soil conditions, irrigation, and care, the tree can produce a consistent yield of coconuts every year. Kasargod Kullam Coconut is also valued for its adaptability to different soil types and tropical climates, especially in coastal regions. Due to its early fruiting, manageable height, and reliable yield, it is widely preferred by farmers in many parts of South India.
