Peter Hass is a variety of avocado related to the well-known Hass Avocado, valued for its rich taste and creamy texture. Peter Hass avocados are medium-sized with an oval to pear-shaped form. The skin is thick and slightly rough, typically dark green and may become darker as it ripens. Inside, the flesh is pale green, smooth, and buttery with a small to medium-sized seed. The taste is rich, creamy, and slightly nutty, similar to Hass but sometimes considered milder. It has a higher oil content compared to tropical avocados, which gives it a smooth and dense texture.
