Kaithachira mango is a local mango variety found in parts of Kerala. It is small to medium in size with green skin that turns yellowish when ripe. The fruit has a pleasant aroma and a sweet taste with slight tanginess. Its pulp is juicy and can be mildly fibrous. Kaithachira mango is commonly eaten fresh and is also used in traditional dishes and pickles.
