Thathamma chundan Fruit is a traditional mango variety commonly found in Kerala. It is medium-sized with an elongated (chundan-like) shape and green skin that may turn slightly yellow when ripe. The fruit has a distinct aroma and a sweet taste with mild tanginess. Its pulp is juicy and can be slightly fibrous. Thathamma Chundan mango is mostly enjoyed fresh and is also used in pickles and local preparations.

Thrives in subtropical/tropical climates. Prefers full sun and well-drained fertile soil.

Planting

Dig pits 1–1.5 ft deep. Mix soil with Vermicompost. Maintain 2–3 meters spacing between plants.
