Priyoor mango is a traditional mango variety grown in parts of Kerala. It is medium-sized with green skin that turns yellow when ripe. The fruit has a pleasant aroma and a sweet taste with slight tanginess. Its pulp is juicy and moderately fibrous. Priyoor mango is commonly enjoyed fresh and also used in local dishes and pickles.

Planting Method

Site Selection

Thrives in subtropical/tropical climates. Prefers full sun and well-drained fertile soil.

Planting

Dig pits 1–1.5 ft deep. Mix soil with Vermicompost. Maintain 2–3 meters spacing between plants.
